Reviews and Ratings
We had a mixed experience at the resort. The views were stunning, and the amenities for kids were fantastic, making it a great family getaway. However, we encountered some cleanliness issues in the apartment, and the location's steep hill might not be ideal for everyone. Overall, a beautiful place, but some maintenance is needed to enhance the stay.
I had a mixed experience at The Sebel Whitsundays Airlie Beach. While the location is ideal, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, the state of the facilities left much to be desired. The poor service and cleanliness issues significantly impacted my overall enjoyment, leading me to feel that it fell short of expectations.
My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing, as it didn’t live up to the standards I expected. While the spaciousness and the new washing machine and dryer were nice touches, the room itself felt outdated and lacked cleanliness. The location was somewhat convenient but required a 15-minute walk to get to shops and restaurants. The condition of the facilities was a major letdown, and the limited service hours from reception were frustrating. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made.
Overall, my stay at the Sebel was quite enjoyable, with a comfortable apartment and stunning balcony views. However, the kitchen cutlery was lacking, and the location was a bit farther from town than I'd prefer, though it was nice and quiet. The staff was accommodating, making my experience pleasant, but I felt there could be more attention to the basic amenities.
The hotel has a beautiful exterior and is conveniently located near the town and Port Airlie. However, the rooms fell short, lacking adequate amenities, and the noise from neighboring apartments was quite disruptive. While the staff tried their best, their attentiveness could have been improved, and some areas of the property, such as the pool, require better maintenance.
